IWoCS Analyzer is a web based interface to study Intergenic Transcribed Spacers (ITS) This website allows to identify tRNAs in one or more ITS sequence(s). The sequences could be submitted to BLAST Each sequence is submitted to a tRNAs search by the tRNAscan-SE a program to search tRNAs in genomic sequences. From here is possible to start the ITS Word Count Based System (IWoCS).The IWoCS software could be used on the whole sequence or on a fragment between tRNAs or in the tRNA fragment.
The IWoCS surfs along the sequence sliding base after base in a selected frame (5mer-13mer). Each mer is then searched in the ITS_DATABASE and the occurence is given.
